A month of blogging to catch up on!

This post is a long time coming. I haven’t blogged in over a month, granted February was a short month but for me it was so very long. It started off with the tots getting sick and then me getting sick. On the back of all that my husband has been interviewing for a new job that has made us pause to consider new life adjustments, goals, wants etc. I took on a number of ambitious projects; have I mentioned my textile design class (I think I am getting closer to figuring out what I want to do when I grow up)? Painting 85 wooden spoons Ombre for a bride to be! I have about 10 blog posts written in my head, so over the next few weeks I’ll prioritize, edit and post a few.

But first what do you think of the new look? Being sick gave me time to dive into illustrator, I am going design crazy. One of my lovely blogging friends Pillows a-la-mode even used one of my designs in her own creative project, so make sure you pop over to her page to take a boo. Second during the past month I got two blog awards both for inspiring blog! Thank you to The Girl in Translation & Lili’s Mum I will dedicate a whole post to inspiration! And finally, you may have guessed my husband and I travel a lot, we have two trips coming up, one to Palm Springs (my love for mid century modern design knows no bounds) and another to Venice, Italy! So I have challenged myself to make many of my outfits, look for a very special vintage one I am making with fabric courtesy of Farm City Vintage.

Well that’s it for now.
